A typical Aztec weapon: Macuahuitl


Macuahuitl is a wooden sword weapon with sharp obsidian strips on the side. The main function of the macuahuitl is to slash, where, according to the Spanish conquistadors' testimony of conflict with the Aztecs, this weapon is strong enough to break the neck of a horse!
